A waterproof underlayment will be laid over the roof deck to provide an extra layer of protection against moisture.

Shingles are installed starting from the bottom edge of the roof and progressing upward. They are secured with nails and follow a specific pattern to ensure water drainage.

The process begins with a thorough inspection of the old deck

The first step is to excavate the ground where the new footings will be placed. These 8-1/4 smooth Artisan Lock Joint by Hardie primed panels are being carefully mounted, ensuring a harmonious blend of functionality and style. As we witness this process unfold, it's clear that each panel's placement is a step toward creating an exterior that marries strength with elegance.

As construction marches forward, attention to detail takes the spotlight. The towering presence of the station now features the emerging Soffit over Furring. This Artisan Lock Joint by Hardie primed soffit not only enhances the aesthetics but also plays a pivotal role in maintaining proper ventilation and safeguarding the station's structure.

The journey of construction is brought to life through the precise addition of 5/4 x 4" Fiber Cement Trim around corners and windows, adding dimension and character. Similarly, the 5/4 x 6" Fiber Cement Trim along the frieze board showcases the thoughtfulness of design in every detail.

The new fire station's transformation is underway, with each step in the siding installation process revealing the careful choreography of construction professionals. We eagerly anticipate the final unveiling, when this project in progress will stand as a testament to the innovation and dedication of those involved.

ING was contracted to install 200+ Fiber Cement lap siding, panel revel system, Tongue and Groove cedar ceiling for 4 building apartment homes complex in Raleigh NC with Mail Kiosk, Pool house, Pet Spa and Club House. For this project ING had more that 30 installers in place working on several lift equipment. This project was completed in 8 months ended on December 2022.
